Statement of inventorship
When you apply for a patent you need to tell us more information about who invented it if:
- you are not the inventor
- you are not the only inventor
- you are applying on behalf of a company
If you are not the inventor or are applying on behalf of a company, you must also tell us how you have the right to apply for the patent.
Send us your Form 7
You should file a form 7 within 16 months of your filing date, or priority date if you are claiming priority from an earlier application. You may file online or send your filled in form 7 to:

Please make sure that you send your form 7 on time. If you do not, your application will be considered withdrawn.
